Live sittings or from photographs
Portraits can done by live sittings or from existing photographs. Arrangements can be made to meet for sittings or to have a photograph taken by the artist. Existing photos can be digitally sent. Photos may be cropped to focus on a particular subject, or to create more emotion in the portrait.
Shown below is an photo of the artist working on two subject charcoal portrait. This 19 X 26 inch charcoal portrait was made from the 8 x 8 inch photograph shown below as well.
Ordering Information:Prices vary according to several factors, including size, media, and number of subjects. The typical turn-around time for a small portrait is about one month depending on the artist's schedule. Larger portraits may take up to 3 months. Expected completion date will be confirmed at the time of commission. Portraits are priced unframed. A 30% deposit is due at the time of ordering, with final balance required at the time of shipping. Drawn on 100% cotton fiber, acid-free, 500 Series Bristol Board.Size up to 19" X 24" $650.00 per subject, plus shipping.
Charcoal Portraits:
Drawn on exquisite handmade cotton paper, 100% Acid-free, chlorine-free and pH neutral Italian Fabriano Roma Paper. Allows for more textured, romantic, and painting-like drawing.
16’ X 18” $1,000.00 (one subject only), plus shipping.
18” X 26” $800.00 per subject, plus shipping.
